Chowee Leow, is a London based producer and actor for film and theatre.
He produced AN OCCASIONAL ORCHID, HOT DOGS & ETERNAL TRIANGLES for the Tripitaka Theatre Company. He started Rice is Nice Productions with Ray Yeung and together they produced Cut Sleeve Boys in 2006. He was the Associate Producer on several shorts including DOGGY-DOGGY, ENTWINE and PAPER WRAP FIRE. He was also an Associate Producer on the Singaporean feature film THE BLUE MANSION, directed by Glen Goei. As an actor he has been seen in several West-end productions and on television and film. He won Best Actor at the Madrid Lesbian & Gay Film Festival for his leading role as Ashley in Cut Sleeve Boys. His award winning one-person show AN OCCASIONAL ORCHID toured the UK, Asia and Europe and was presented at the Institute of Contemporary Art of Great Britain. The play provides the backbone of Becoming Zoe, a documentary feature exploring gender, race and sexuality to be released in summer 2015. |

Ray Yeung’s first feature film, CUT SLEEVE BOYS premiered at the Rotterdam International Film Festival and won Best Feature at the Outfest Fusion Festival in Los Angeles. CUT SLEEVE BOYS also had cinematic releases in Thailand, Taiwan and in various cities across the United States including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago.
He has written and directed eight short films. YELLOW FEVER, which won Best Short at the Madrid Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, was released on DVD by Frameline Distribution. A BRIDGE TO THE PAST was commissioned by the London Arts Council and recently PAPER WRAP FIRE won Best Short at the New Hampshire Film Festival. Ray has directed two plays, BANANA SKIN and THE THIRD SEX, which were staged in London and Hong Kong. As director and art director for Television commercials, he has worked for clients including 7 Eleven, Coca Cola, MacDonalds and HSBC. Ray Yeung, a Columbia University MFA graduate, is also the chairman of the Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay Film Festival since 2000. |
MING LEE – Ba

MING LEE is an actor of stage and screen, a jazz singer and songwriter. He was born in Malaysia of Chinese descent.
His film and TV work includes: Return To Paradise, Kundun, Foreign Ghosts, Canvas, February, Closing Time and Law and Order-SVU. He has done work in the UK, Canada, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia and was in the Broadway production of Miss Saigon and Pacific Overtures. His songs, an eclectic mix of jazz and pop, are featured in his debut CD, Slow Time, No Time. |
